What do American Spirit Pageants mean to me?: I feel privileged, honored, and proud to hold the title of Miss Teen Wisconsin Spirit. The national pageant was a wonderful experience. It gave me the opportunity to improve my stage presence and build my confidence. I greatly appreciate the pageant’s core values of courage, conviction, compassion, character, and charity. Outer beauty means nothing unless you can portray a positive persona as well. This pageant is unique because charity was actually a judged criteria. I was glad to have raised money for the Havlife Foundation, which is an awesome organization that works to eliminate lost potential. Charity is important to me because I see the need for it every week when I volunteer at Big Brothers and Big Sisters. In addition, it was inspiring to meet so many amazing women at the pageant. I made friends from various parts of the country, who each have their own sparkle, and I hope that we stay in touch. The American Spirit Pageants have been such a fun experience! I look forward to what the new year brings, and I expect that this pageant system will continue to thrive.
