Hobbies: My hobbies are horseback riding, reading, working out/weightlifting, cooking, cheering for my kids at all of their activities, and relaxing on the boat in the summer.
Goals: My goals are to raise my four children to be happy, well adjusted, productive adults; to help get children and families more active by making exercise fun; and to help raise awareness of the symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder among soldiers returning from combat and decrease the stigma of seeking treatment.
What do the American Spirit Pageants mean to me? First, the pageants are an excellent opportunity for women of all ages to learn more about themselves, create lasting friendships and gain confidence in their abilities to make a difference and have a voice. The pageants also mean a great deal because they raise money and awareness for a cause that is very important to me…giving children opportunities to excel that they wouldn’t normally have.
