Each American Spirit Pageant Contestant will need rehearsal clothing (sweats, sweatshirts, jeans, tennis shoes, etc). Each Contestant will need a fun outfit to wear for any meals or photo opportunities. Whenever appearing in public Contestants must wear their sash.
Interview- Contestants should wear an outfit appropriate for a job interview, and that reflects your personality. The outfit should make you feel confident and comfortable.
Swimsuit- You will be required to wear the following according to your competition category:
Miss Teen- Contestants are required to wear a one-piece swimsuit. Reasonable coverage is required; no Brazilian or Rio back cuts, no thongs, no high French cut suits. There are no color restrictions. Hose are optional, but they must be nude and blend with your skin color. You may wear heels or be barefooted, whichever best suits the style you wish to portray.

Ms. and Mrs.-Contestants may choose a one or two piece swimsuit OR aerobic wear. If a swimsuit is chosen, reasonable coverage is required; no Brazilian or Rio back cuts, no thongs, no high French cut suits. There are no color restrictions. Hose are optional, but they must be nude and blend with your skin color. If a swimsuit is chosen you may wear heels or be barefooted, whichever best suits the style you wish to portray. If aerobic wear is chosen the Contestant should wear shorts, or long pants/tights/leggings to accentuate your figure. Tops may be cropped, bra-style or full length. If you choose aerobic wear you should wear white sneakers with socks or peds.
Evening Gown- Each Contestant wears a gown that she has chosen for herself. This is the most elegant portion of the competition. Attention is focused overall appearance, confidence, and beauty she brings to the gown of her choice. The Contestant will be judged on how she wears the gown and presents herself in it. However, the gown itself will not be judged.
